Quetica, LLC
Managing Director
Richard Langer is the President and Managing Director of Quetica, a transportation, supply chain and global trade information technology consulting firm. He is a retired senior military officer with various career assignments designing and managing expeditionary supply chains andtransportation networks. Langer is a well-respected industry expert in government and private sector designing and building global supply chain, transportation and trade systems for half of the Fortune 500 and Federal Government.

Langer is one of the original founders and president of the PowerTrack freight audit and payment business which processed 270 million transportation invoices and bills of lading annually for over 13,000 multi modal transportation carrier companies in 40+ countries. The PowerTrack team used the data they amassed to consult with clients on how to optimize and design their supply chain and transportation networks. As an outcome of consulting projects, they launched a third party logistics company, supply chain automation software company and global trade bank to help clients optimize their operations. In 2009, Langer assisted the investors in selling the very successful PowerTrack business group and restarted a consulting practice under the brand Quetica.

Quetica’s principals have a deep understanding of government and commercial transportation, supply chain, global trade and information technology. Langer initiated the concept and led the effort to adapt supply chain network optimization, a proven private sector practice, to public freight networks and to reduce transportation costs for local businesses.
