Deputy Chief Innovation Officer
Nadine Lee is the Deputy Executive Officer for LA Metro’s Office of Extraordinary Innovation. Nadine works with Metro staff, government partners, and private companies to launch innovative concepts in planning, project delivery, and operations - all in the interest of helping Metro provide a more flexible, demand-responsive mobility system for Los Angeles County.
Prior to moving to Los Angeles, Nadine led the development and implementation of the Flatiron Flyer bus rapid transit for Denver’s Regional Transportation District (RTD), a project that has seen a 45% growth in daily ridership since its launching. During her ten-year tenure at RTD, Nadine worked on Northwest Rail Preliminary Engineering, Commuter Rail Maintenance Facility Environmental Assessment and the Eagle P3 project. Nadine is a registered Professional Engineer in Colorado and Kansas, and she received her B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Nadine is a graduate of the Leadership APTA Class of 2015.
